Does it play well on the Steam Deck? I could use another game to play free of my desk.

Just played it on the Deck. Runs flawless but controller controls feel like an afterthought, very mouse focused UI.

I played the demo on Steam Deck and it ran perfectly. I just bought the game and intend on playing it on there too.
