@kevinmkruse.bsky.social points out that Trump is anti-labor and anti-immigrant (and I would add islamophobic and anti-Semitic.) All of these groups have organizations and yet somehow so many organizations aren't speaking up. Some are actually endorsing Trump. What is wrong with our democracy?

When somebody says "I'm going to beat you up" you don't say "Oh, that's fine." You don't hand them brass knuckles. But that's what we're seeing from so many interest groups.
