That movie is awful, but for me, nothing will ever be worse than Highlander: The Source. They literally BUTCHER a Queen song by a bad cover band. What a way to trash a franchise that had already suffered one of the worst sequels ever, and they found a way to top it.
James Farentino as the Sheriff is ON FIRE in this movie, especially at the end. Also, he looks SO MUCH like Treat Williams that this would go well with Dead Heat. But WILD ENDING. Didn’t see that last twist coming!
I’m giving this a try over on Peacock. It’s been on my watch list for three years now. From the screenwriters of Alien, ought to be worthwhile.
I keep wanting to watch The Evil Dead again, but in its original intended aspect ratio. My UK Blu-ray is only the cropped widescreen format. Makes me wish I didn’t sell my Book of the Dead DVD years ago, but I made a good stack of cash from that eBay auction!
