The truth is, the budgets that are required to end (or perpetuate) occupations are in the realms of billions of US dollars. Fundraisers can either help direct, immediate communities, or lend themselves to scams like the #GeorgianLegion. They help people act in small, but meaningful moral ways, ➡️

but they befall on the atomised, neoliberal approach of individual action. Effective action needs the organisation of great, focused collectives and not stochastic "groups of individuals." Recognising this, I will continue to focus my work towards those positive things :)
