Loving Echoes of Wisdom, but its performance is really bad, and I say this as someone who would be fine if every game ran at 30 FPS. No one other than Nintendo could get away with this.
It feels like with every big new game, one writer from one outlet becomes Game Journalists as a whole. No matter where the majority of the industry leans, they are so often defined by outliers, and it is super discouraging.
It is wild to see takes from people being like "99% of games journalism/reviews from outlets are bad" and then go on to single out one negative review about a game they liked and ignore the dozens and dozens of other ones that gave it positive coverage.

I really enjoy listening to audiobooks, but I also can’t really listen to an audiobook for a book I haven’t read before without getting completely lost.
I think I might turn to ash if I hear one more person bring up "lazy game devs".
