Two of the Arizona Supreme Court justices who voted to reimpose the state's 1864 abortion law will be up for retention in November. Sadly, a lot of voters have historically not paid much attention to down-ballot elections. Something tells me that's about to change.

It is changing. There's much discussion locally in the most populated metropolitan areas about voting those two out.

My guess is that most people perceive Congress as the natural enemy of the President. Why vote for someone if he's only going to oppose the President and, to the mind of the voter, commit treason?
