This is also the first time anyone has ever hit 3 homers and stolen 2 bases in a game in MLB history. There’s an argument that this was the greatest single game performance from a hitter ever.

It's a pretty good plan. I'm curious about the capacity of the funding sources and the sustainability of property maintenance. But, it's a plan worth considering.

Henry Grabar is always a good read. Also, the title is right on. Read something other than The Power Broker (or Death and Life...) if you are really interested in urban planning. Or at least, don't just think of it all as a dichotomy of those two books. slate.com/business/202...

Of course they work there. What I'd like to see is more innovation in those places and more discussion on the successes in them. Maybe I'm just not as diligently looking for these articles anymore but I mostly see articles about projects in the top 20 metros.

Planners should be more focused on mid-sized American cities where they could have greater impact and demonstrate success that could be replicated elsewhere.
