Please do not wish anyone a "Happy Yom Kippur" -- you can say "Have an easy fast" or "Have a good holiday" and I say similar things to students during Ramadan. It is a joyful holiday, but not in the Purim way. A release from the pain of guilt, transgression, misdeeds -- a time to start over.
