I take comfort in thinking of the moment an executive realises they compromised the studio for those magic beans, and they now have to fire this snake oil salesman and make some tough, expensive phonecalls.

This is much better than my imagined scenario where the executive instead just adds "launched major technology initiative, significantly reducing staffing costs" to their resume and gets hired elsewhere with a major promotion.
