What’s your “weird” phobia and how did you find out about it? Mine is megalophobia. But it only manifests with objects that SHOULD be small or regular size but are enlarged. And I found out at a very young age while reading Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. That book is my nightmare.

I don't know if it's the same phobia, but I remember when I was a kid having a very lucid dream where piles of money kept growing and growing until I couldn't get rid of it fast enough and I woke up to an irrational fear of large stacks of money... not that it's something I see often... ever...
