I had my X10 "smart home" in the 1980's. Lights on X10 timed schedule for when I was away. Remote button in my car to turn on the back porch light so I could see to park behind my house. And a switch that turned the TV OFF at 11pm to remind my husband to come to BED. #HappyTimes#LifetimeAgo
I use the individual, manually set light timers when I'm away. 2 pack from Aldi covers LR for post-work hrs and BR for a little bit after, with the LR lamp switched to an LED grow bulb and moved next to plant shelves since obvs the blinds are closed the whole time
