It is vanishingly unlikely that we’ll get another series of James May’s excellent television programme “the reassembler”, so I think the BBC should release all the unedited footage so we can actually watch him rebuild a petrol lawnmower in real time, to strike back against NRK’s “Slow TV”.

What a show. What a man. I will be taking no direct criticism of his choice of colleagues at this time.

Suggestion: collection of all footage and audio produced during production from which a viewer had to assemble the finished programme.
