this would be the dress code at my fancy restaurant
i had a sexy muse
hell yeah
man, the shit with his wife was the worst part, other than seeing Data being so awful (Brett Spiner is a fantastic actor though). If they were accounting for any sense of realistic trauma, she would've divorced him, like, IMMEDIATELY after that
and yet they also had Picard suffer PTSD from being taken over by the Borg! it's so inconsistent! i guess it's just, like, i really love these characters, it's the best crew imo, so seeing them used with so little care just infuriates me
these feelings are only amplified by the fact the show has WAY too many mind control episodes. like a ridiculous number, i'm so sick of them. most annoying part of watching a show that began in the cold war era, that kind of paranoia infected all manner of media
it was so needlessly evil, sadistic. then at the end, all the characters treat it like it was just an inconvenience, as if the hostages wouldnt be deeply traumatized, entirely unable to look their friends in the eye again. the show has understood trauma in the past, but neglected it severely now
just have to get on here and say that S05E15 of Star Trek TNG is the worst episode of the show, i hate it with every fiber of my being. it feels like it was created with the express purpose of hurting the audience. vile and mean and disgusting. what a stain on my favorite show
that's REALLY GOOD
