Yep. My electric kettle is a literally everyday use, sometimes several times in a day, appliance. It’s more efficient both in energy usage and time than heating a kettle on the stovetop.

At this point it’s probably saved me more money in electricity than it cost to buy it in the first place. Plus it’s a solid daily QOL improvement in not having to babysit a kettle on the stove every time I want tea.
