Day 19 is one of the best found footage movies I have seen. It follows the usual formula of other movies of its type, but does it really effectively, and is creepy as fuck. The only issue... the ending doesn't quite land, like they lost steam and didnt know what to do with it. That clown though!
Day 18, and sometimes you just need some comedy with your horror. Bubba Ho-Tep may not be a perfect example of the comedy horror genre, but who wouldn't love a film about ageing Elvis fighting an Egyptian mummy? And Bruce Campbell is always a lot of fun!
Was really tired last night, so wanted to watch something fairly familiar in case I fell asleep, so day 17 was Late Night With the Devil. Watched it a few times over the past few months, and always enjoy it!
Day 16 of scary movies is Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum. Same formula as most found footage horrors, annoying characters desperate for views stupidly put themselves into a situation they can't get out of. Not bad, but made me think of Deadstream, which is probably not good if you aren't trying to be funny
