Abbott’s seizure of border land took less than 48 hours to claim lives. Henry Cuellar says that Border Patrol observed a woman and two children in distress in the middle of the Rio Grande. Texas troops reportedly barred them from taking action so the family was swept away by the river and drowned.

Texas officers took control over Shelby Park against the city’s wishes on Wednesday and have since blocked U.S. Border Patrol agents from entering.
No doubt Texas will make this work as well as their power grid and disdain for women's lives.
