this is soooo pretty!! i can't remember the last time i saw a watercolor reference sheet. traditional refs are super charming, and there's something really cool about having a physical reference sheet of a character you really care about
Honestly looking at this makes me realize that I just need to simplify when I paint. Like I'm doing a lot of studies when I do traditional work rn cause practicing technique is important, but like when I start making trad art for art's sake I'mma try and simplify more.
Trad. watercolour reference sheet? That is such a vibe! It’d be so nice to hold something like that in your hand, too. I do miss the haptic aspect of art with digital.
