In general greetings, instead of gendering people ("ladies and gentlemen"), try "Thanks for calling" or "Thank you all for being here." Other alternatives to "ladies and gentlemen" are "folks," "beloveds," "people," "everyone," or a specific group you may be addressing. #IntentionalLanguage

this reminds me of how, after the 2009 reboot movie of Star Trek, i would simply say “Hello” as a general greeting or at the beginning of presentations, because of how casually the villain in the movie said “Hello” to the captain when the villain (played nicely by Eric Bana) contacted the Enterprise
