Lifeguards at busy and dangerous spots are amazing & cut from a different cloth!
I celebrated gt without realizing significance of my actions...
I feel your pain. You can inquire but delays are often bc of a lot of common issues. One issue slowing process down is invited reviewers that are slow to (or never) decline invites. Possibly because they can't decide, email gets buried, or invite was sent to email address they rarely check...
Wow, that is really going poorly. Gratis work on editorial board & reviewer & then asked to pay 💰💰💰 OA fees. 😒 Hoping journals start tracking service and offering staggered OA fees depending on quality service. Or staggering OA fees for poor labs e.g. make research OA 1 or 2 yr after publictn date.
Yikes, sounds like a layered & smelly onion. Is there a lemons to lemonade analogy? Skip & saute some onion & vegetables?! Or 🏃
Funny. So be your authentic self while not offending anyone.
We all need a break from the day-to-day. Looks like a fun route, & a good reminder of what you're physically capable! Nice job.
Hilarious 🤣. My organization's PR department would never okay giving a similar statement. Because of additionality & permanence problems with affordable CDR, the only guaranteed ROI is the opportunity to greenwash.
I work in the carbon ranching space. This is a field dominated by little-replicated experiments with no pre-treatment data prone to biased results. We needed a next generation of long-term experiments 10 or more yr ago. Unfortunately funding agencies didn't prioritize this... So behind the 8 ball
Compared to biorender, bioicons looks really limited (but free) e.g. lacks interface to make content. So users are building up content by pirating icons off web (& converting to new file types) or creating content in other platforms and uploading? Former is probably copyright infringement.
