Which is a shame, because it stood as a *very* effective rebuttal without assigning any motives or trying to pan out to a broader conclusion. Re: J. Harlan, it argued nearly conclusively that your read on Harlan’s personal philosophy was simply off base.

Which, if so, I suppose I’m wrong about Harlan and should read his dissent differently as a result!
