My latest, a review of the Biographical Dictionary of Tang Dynasty Literati, ed. William Nienhauser & Michael Naparstek, is out. I wouldn't have written this pre-tenure, but I felt a professional obligation. This could've been amazing, but it didn't live up to my expectations.
The part that kills me is that if you're hiring a professional translator I'm guessing it would be less work for them and be done more quickly without the machine involvement. Translation requires more art and nuance than people give it credit for.
