I once had a set of strings with like a gold ti-nitride finish on em, and those looked absolutely baller on it! I think they were GHS or DR strings, dun remember but they were in a clearance bucket and looked cool as hell and played okay!

I mostly use D'Addario XL nickel-wounds, but my playing ability is so novice I could have stuck the cheap rainbow colored ones on and probably heard no difference in tone. But anyway, happy playing!
