I can’t speak for most yes voters but for me, what Albanese wanted was irrelevant. I voted yes because that’s what the deliberative process that produced the Uluru Statement called for

Me too, but Albanese had the job of convincing the majority of voters, and this wasn't sufficient for them. By backing Albanese on the "no need for details" line, instead of pushing him to propose a model, public supporters of Yes doomed us to failure.
