Just finished Metaphor. Fantastic game, it managed to blend everything I love in a turn based game, tell a compelling story, and not overstay it's welcome. One of Atlus's best games in a very long time. More detailed thoughts in the thread, gameplay first and I'll say when story spoilers start.

The gameplay was everything I could want from an SMT game. The calendar system honestly hasn't worked very well since it was introduced in Persona 3, so removing the shackles of the school calendar to give themselves a lot more freedom of expression did wonders for the gameplay experience here.
