I feel disheartened by being ignored when I post asking for help here. I need $200 to get me through with essentials (undergarments, toiletries, etc) and yet no one has reached out a hand to help. Is it the way I write my posts? Is it honestly something I'm doing wrong? I wish I knew the answer.

On bsky, you're pretty much invisible unless you're reaching out and interacting with others. Unfortunately many people are going through struggles of their own. Not everyone can donate money on a whim. I sincerely hope you are able to get the help you need but I don't know that begging on bluesky is the way.

If I could, I would. We've just had moving expenses and now hubby is in the hospital so just a lot of our own going on.
