What if they just let Concord become a free game. Not Free 2 Play, but just regular old Free. Just a free game only on the PS5. A little incentive for having the console. Wouldn't that be better than throwing it all away?

Or at least let people host their on servers on PC.

This is probably gonna one of the most difficult redemption arc. To think that it wasn't full of glitches and an unplayable mess devoid of all the promised features like No Man's Sky 1.0 was or the abyssal launch of Cyberpunk 2077 (which sold 13 millions in days, unlike Concord who sold peanuts).

I am guessing there is some sort of strategic write off for the company here…

They are big corpos, so I doubt they wanna keep some servers running just for that.

I mean they're not taking it down to just get rid of it, they're gonna attempt a relaunch after reworking some aspects of it. They still wanna get their money back
