Aku yang sengaja dipanjang-panjangin k̶a̶r̶e̶n̶a̶ b̶a̶c̶o̶t̶ itung itung latihan writing lagi
I know it was inevitable, and my idealistic ass was writing the previous post but here’s the idea: I really don’t like how you have to acquire some social approval there to ensure the success of your agency rather than the content itself.
While I was more concerned with satisfying my own needs than those of others, I do see how the current community are crucial to the success of the stories that I create. Which fucking sucks if you ask me. Why do we need to cater to THEIR needs over a story that I created?
My writing for interactive stories is just a hobby that I have taken seriously and given meaning to in order to keep sane while juggling my real-life responsibilities. My mistake was projecting the standard I set for myself onto others.
One thing that struck me the most was "People are just here to satisfy their egos and seek validation." Perhaps I am included. What are my simple, silly little goals if not my personal ego, given that I will never be a full-time game developer? Not that I am interested in becoming one.
