"no way to prevent this" says only kernel where this regularly happens
Proprietary driver blobs on Linux would like to have a word with you but the system is stuck in a boot/kernel panic loop
yes... i have just chedked that linux kmods have a nice ELF header that would have prevented the kernel to load that file filled with zeroes...
*ducks*
I was going to repost this, but it was at "69" and I don't mess with nice things.
Well played!
this was for the "things that aren't true" website and you just ww, ig ;)
Look, we just wrote an operating system that makes it stupidly easy to remotely execute bad code. It's your fault the people you paid to keep people from remotely executing bad code remotely executed bad code
I mean, you're not wrong
Linux has entered the chat. Seriously... Linux already has a solution for this problem, and has HAD a solution for this problem for quite some time. Mainstream tech companies are full of it when they say there is no solution.
