Ahh I didn't watch cherry magic so maybe that would have changed my answer! I didn't actually enjoy the Japanese live action, so I never picked up the Thai adaptation. Maybe I'll try it someday

oh the thai adaptation is really, really solid!! one of my favorite shows of the year—the first episode has some early secondhand embarrassment but i really appreciated what it had to say about… taking risks to keep growing in your 30s, intimacy, queer adulthood etc
