This actually means a lot. For me, a queer who has only been able to come out to people extremely close to me. I can't even be myself in my own front yard, due to the racist, homophobic, transphobic neighbors that surround me.

Sorry to hear it, and yeah growing up and working out I was queer in the 80s was interesting, and it's just not a source of jokes, except you know amoung good friends and all who have all been there.
