Eh, IDK, the Evangelicals are not reality-based. They sincerely think they are engaged in "spiritual warfare," acting as foot soldiers in a war between angels and demons that God is fated to win, and how well they fight will determine their place in the afterlife. They have a lot in common with IRI.

They're self-aware about it too, they consider "the reality-based community" to be a good insult to level at the rest of us.
