I did take a month away from bsky, but it wasn't for any reason other than I was in a panic about starting my MSc in January, but I have now realised that I should survive!

I didn't want to lose the original slate surround, so I had to find an installation company who were willing to work around that! Slate tends to not like being moved, and some of them wouldn't risk it... but all went well, and now my 1880s surround has a 2024 hearth and burner to match 😍
It was heartbreaking to realise I wouldn't have a use for it, as it had already been dumped and left to rust. This way I can still enjoy it, and it gets to live a new life
