It's worth reminding people who opposed the C19 lockdowns in the UK how much worse things would have been without them. The NHS was overwhelmed, people were dying at horrendous rates. Lockdown came too late but, even so, saved many lives. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2024... 🧵
