Interesting. Yes there is some traction there too. The X diaspora is exploring different channels. For my part: Mastodon - bit niche but some good climate science convos. Not sure it’ll achieve critical mass Bsky - feels like a refuge for more serious convos on energy etc Threads - X replacement …

Thanks Annie! I followed him or her on Twitter but spending less time on X so this is great. He’s really good. I suspect a really seriously good scientist who is hacked off with all the denial and is sticking on in there calling it out.

David Mackay in 2009. One fundamental physics reason is the very low frontal air resistance per passenger, but of course the electrification of the energy is a key factors.
