Not sure if you are replying to my post for the humor/sarcasm but adding one more column to a db to track bookmarks is much simpler than adding DMs. DMs also can be a problematic feature. The primary function of these platforms is open discourse.

I took it as a normal/common request. And yeah, you're right, DMs are about 1000x harder than bookmarks!

I agree about the open discourse but when we want customer service issues addressed from lets say Verizon (should this come to pass here) we need a secure place to give them addtl. info about ourselves.
