It took me two big sessions to finish it, with a 3 month gap in the middle. It's big! And tbh I simultaneously read it both via audiobook and physical, which I think helped me get past the on ramp.

The audiobook is fantastic, especially because it highlights the oral storytelling techniques used in the book.
It is a somewhat complex book to get into, because it is doing interesting things with how the story is told. However, it comes together and pays off. The book uses its structure in such an astounding way that it has changed how I think about point of view / storytelling in fiction.
I found out about it because it was shortlisted for the Ursula K Le Guin Prize (which is the only prize I really follow). It's my life's goal to make as many people read this book as possible.
I do feel like you were an influencer in getting much of the contributors to migrate over!
