yelling at people about this stuff actually works (see also: nfts) the seemingly inevitable AI art dystopia doesn’t have to be real, not if we don’t let it
Yelling really does work! I was looking into using AI images for the orgs social media. It's not like we can afford to pay artists or anything anyways, and I figured if it helps us get more aid to people that can't be so bad. I quickly abandoned those plans cause I didn't want to get yelled at!
I like this movie, "The Return of the Luddites" only this time they're wearing white hats.
Amazing to me that modern capitalism is white dude after white dude raising $500 million for a product no one wants, that everyone HATES, that doesn't see one successful, profitable use-case. Then they disappear, and come back with another terrible idea that gets $500 million.
Yes, and also: we gotta stay vigilant even when they supposedly back down. "We have no plans to do this again to promote Doctor Who."
I hated the AI generated credits for Secret Invasion. They looked like a very early rough draft of what could have been something cool.
Hell yeag!!!!!
Doctor Who, as in the show whose recurring baddies are metal monstrosities who sacrificed every scrap of individuality and freedom and creativity to become Daleks/Cybermen? That Doctor Who?
They love to say "it is inevitable, it is already here, adapt" fuck them
