yes! please understand how the levers of power actually WORK so you can use them effectively this remains my favorite thing about AOC, she has grasped this shit since Day 1

She has SUCH a good grasp of when she has leverage and when she doesn’t and retrenching along those battle lines and part of me thinks it makes some lefties mad because she’s ready and willing to acknowledge when the leftist position is not in fact a popular or well-understood one with the public.

She is, and this is a compliment, a further left version of Pelosi. She has her goals and wants to get shit done. People on the left should be dancing in the streets that someone with a similar agenda is ascending in power in congress.
