First half of the fourth row are the multiplayer shooters I've sunk the most hours into. Garry's Mod and Halo 3 are similar in that most of the joy comes from the absurd custom modes and maps the players created from them.

PAYDAY 2 is just in my opinion one of the best cooperative shooters ever made, and it's broke my heart how poorly PAYDAY 3 launched.
