You can’t look at a system that takes fingerprints for lunch payments, sets detentions for forgetting a pen and asks you to sit in uncomfortable clothes and shares your data with 3rd parties and say ah yes, TikTok is the reason that students misbehave.

Social media and the internet catalyses issues or reflects them back at us, I’m not here to defend it. But I’m tired of seeing us blame tech for societal issues. Also if you blame TikTok, pls ask your school to stop using social media to advertise. What’s your role in stopping tech harm?
