I do love how since Trump especially the Right has just gone absolutely abstract in its framing of everything. Like this was always true (framing businesses denying service to black folks as ‘freedom’ being a heinous example) but now they can’t even say ‘we want liberty-which means no taxes.’

They can offer no material benefits or real solutions to real problems so they retreat into self defined worlds of their own creation. (Another older example of over-abstraction is Liberal Fascism, as you pointed out).
