Apparently, if left to my own devices in NH, I will invariably find myself at the beach. I foresee lots of photo and video processing over the next few days.
Just went outside because the moon was so bright when I turned the lights off that I had to see it directly. Y'all, I can see color out there (also, hello first frost).

The leaf peepers (aka, foliage tourists) have gotten so bad in NH that the state is considering park restrictions. I have to drive to my sister's on Friday. In Peak Foliage Country. Pray that I remember the back roads I haven't taken in 20 years to get there.
Ah, the delightful smell of burning dust as the heaters kick on for the first time since spring.
Just vacuumed the radiators in preparation for having to turn the heat on shortly, and utterly horrified the cats by vacuuming Púca's favorite squirrel toy. (It's technically a dog toy, so it's a bit more realistic than cats toys.)
