- Not related to the prompt but I did think of using this hc theme as 'keeping quiet+hand kink' prompt fill for bottom Spock week as Spuhura some time ago.. However, the amount of hands and I'd have to draw and do gesture research is a bit exhausting to think abt so maybe next time..🫠
And Kirk would be slower, a bit more clumsy but confident and pleasant Spock's signing would look a bit mechanical/personality less on the surface; focused on the clear movements of delivery.. But to ppl who know him, his gestures would still have that lil bit of sassy warmth to it.
so watching his captain's hands do signing all day means Spock has to go lie down from being 50 shades of flustered often. 😏 I also like imagining the lil personality differences in their signing too.. Since Uhura is a talented comms officer her signing would be super clear and fast if need be.
Once in a whie Spock and Uhura deadpan argue/discussing in sign and everyone standing there like 😶 watching those really fast hand movements in awe. Them being at an allied planet where the main form of communication they could do with the local population is sign language
