Train friends: a non-train friend is currently being dicked about by LNER, who cancelled her train sending her via Chesterfield and Leeds to York. The original train now looks to have been uncancelled and left 15 minutes late. She has bought a new ticket for a portion of the journey.

If humanity ever builds Artifical General Intelligence and asks it how to solve the climate crisis, it's going to tell us to stop wasting energy on AGI data centres and shut itself down immediately.
