#MWE 4/29 The Bolshoi | Country Life (2015) What was supposed to be the band's 4th album was finally unearthed via Beggars Banquet Arkive imprint. You can hear strains of their previous work, but this was largely uninspired and it meant they quit when it was the right time.

#MWE 3/29 Lostboy! | Lostboy! a.k.a. Jim Kerr (2010) A nice collection of electronic songs that may feel out of place in a Simple Minds album, but somehow right up Kerr's voice alley. I just feel confused about "Remember Asia" lol

#MWE 2/29 The Church | A Quick Smoke at Spot's (1991) Wow - a glimpse of the original band in material prior to their first fracturing (drummer Richard Ploog left after 1990's "Gold Afternoon Fix"). Its not as spacey or weird like their latter works are, so definitely for the old timer fans like me.

#MWE 1/29 Panda Riot | Extra Cosmic (2022 self-released) "Technicolor", "Glitterati", "Remote Viewing" and "ESP" make the case that this Illinois dream pop outfit needs a new record deal.
