Wow! That cover is stunning!

Colorado frequently lives up to its name of “Colorful Colorado.”

A mountain made of red stone. Its left side is covered with green foliage, but the right side is bare.
Green and yellow leaves surround a river and a railroad bridge that crosses it.
Another view of a railroad bridge. The water is a bright blue. The leaves along the right are yellow and golden.
A series of dining patios, mostly hidden in shadow, with tress just beyond the darkness, bathed in sunlight.

Apparently my wife and son are about to drop a pretty raw album… and didn’t even tell me.

Pensive black and white shot of a young adult and woman on a side walk. They look weary.
Image of a curb stamped with the words “high curb.” This must be the name of the album.

I hate this attitude that our kids need to be a reflection of us, as fathers. Thankfully many fathers are losing that view. If we are lucky, we get to see our kids become who they are meant to be. If they feel loved and supported, we might get to help.

A few more black and white snaps of the neighborhood this morning. This time I used a simple pancake lens.

A raised section running along revitalized warehouse spaces.
A photo of yellow yarrow overtaking a chain link fence. Because the image is black and white you can’t see that the yarrow is burnt and dull instead of bright yellow.
A photo of a fire hydrant with a hose attached to it. The hose just lays in the grass, the end not attached to anything.
A couple of houses hidden behind trees.

Lakewood is just on the other side of town! If you’ll get a chance to stay in Colorado for any time and want suggestions, please let me know. The least I could do since you provided a couple when we visited Reykjavik.

“Leaf deviant” is a hell of an insult.

I mostly do my writing in plain text and paste it into Scrivener, but as I said, I do want to start to use it more. This is super helpful. Thanks again.

Ooooh! Okay. I was trying to figure this out in Settings. Thank you!

Oh! Is that the default? It looks like I had it on already, but it seems like it only works in Composition mode? I haven't used Scrivener as much as I'd like... at least, not often enough to really dig into the settings. Good recommendation, though!
