I'm so conflicted on this issue. I get the importance of partner hires, but it also seems like ed schools are often asked to hire the partners in areas that may not be the greatest need.

Yeah I think the big thing is that institutions should be fair and transparent with processes. A lot of this stuff happens unevenly and applicants don’t know what to expect. I don’t think institutions have to promise partner hires but they should be clear on how it works there.
