Sign. It’s exactly this fear of hypotheticals and what ifs I was referring to in my original post. Yes, of course they’d be damaged in a bombing, just like any other infrastructure. But we need to divest from fossil fuels as soon as possible, and nuclear is going to be essential when doing so.

Not a single person was harmed by Three Mile Island. Meanwhile, between 1999–2020, burning coal caused about 460,000 deaths in the U.S. The anti-nuclear movement that followed this event cannot be overlooked when confronting our over reliance on fossil fuels and the current climate crisis.
