Along with 7 other Internet Law professors, I filed an amicus brief in Free Speech Coalition v. Paxton opposing mandatory online age authentication. Blog post coming papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers....@robheverly.bsky.social@marklemley.bsky.social@yvettejoy.bsky.social@jmiers230.bsky.social
I'm not sure there are rules. As I understand it, it doesn't "steal" (or recreate) works that are in its training set. It uses those works, and what it "learned" from them, to create new things that didn't exist before. That is my understanding, though, and lots of folks disagree!
Glad to help. It just occurred to me that I could ask ChatGPT (4.0/Dall-e) and I couldn't help myself so I gave it a try. I didn't give it the tagline words, but it's more sophisticated than the ones from the free logo makers (which tend to push you toward icon-based logos). I'm done playing now :)
There are quite a few "free" online logo design sites. Here's one that came up with only a few clicks of the mouse (I got this from a screen grab; if you wanted to keep a logo like this you would probably have to register). I don't love this, but it gives you an idea of what you can do quickly.
Fifth Circuit denies en banc review in s. 230 liability case-Doe v. Snap-by vote of 8 to 7. Dissent wanted to review: "Without regard for...text and structure...our court interpreted Section 230 over a decade ago to provide broad-based immunity." www.ca5.uscourts.gov/opinions/pub...
It looks like one of Michael Cohen's lawyers filed papers with hallucinated (I like the term fabricated better) cases in them. The lawyer was David Schwartz. Recognize that name? Looks like the same lawyer who was a "first mover" in fabricated cases (Mata v Avianca). abcnews.go.com/US/michael-c...
