1) Yes! But that's mostly because of the sheer volume of traffic in Amsterdam, no? Btw, a recent visit made me realize that scooters and those fatbikes don't help either - yikes. But 2), it does make cars go 'wtf,' leading to avoidance of car use in these areas by many people (such as myself)
Yes—this is where I start to worry that past a critical volume (especially of tourists unfamiliar with rules) it’s impossible to make a complex bike-tram-auto-pedestrian system, which is normally superior, legible. And yeah, electric bikes and scooters make it much worse!
